TBDCyber is committed to being a supportive community partner
TBDCyber invests in the communities where we work and live, from cybersecurity education in K-12 to health, conservation, and youth development. We believe that thriving communities and thriving businesses go hand in hand, and that belief shapes how we show up beyond the work we do for our clients.
At TBDCyber, our people are our greatest asset, and many of them bring that same dedication and expertise they apply to cybersecurity into causes they care deeply about. Whether that means running marathons to fight Alzheimer's, mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, or serving on the Boards of organizations that make a real difference, our team gives of their time, talent, and resources because it's simply the right thing to do.
Community engagement isn't a program or a policy at TBDCyber; it's a reflection of who we are.
Through investments of time and resources, TBDCyber has provided support to these community-based organizations:

TBDCyber has sponsored Founding Senior Partner, Ernie Anderson, in several marathons (including Chicago, New York, Boston), as he runs in support of Alzheimer's Association #ENDALZ.
The Alzheimer's Association's mission is to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support, all working toward their vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease.
TBDCyber supports the Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America with financial gifts to the Friends of Scouting Campaign. Founding Senior Partner, Graeme Payne, serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Atlanta Area Council. Graeme also chairs the National Technology Advisory Committee for Scouting America.
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Prior to joining TBDCyber, Senior Consultant Jeff Caranna created the Cybersecurity pathway at Akron Public Schools NIHF STEM High School. He continues to support the program and promote cybersecurity education in K-12.
Jeff stated recently, "It's a privilege and honor to talk with educators across the country about how learners are enhanced by their engagements with community partners such as TBDCyber. I feel immense pride to hear the students talk about how much they appreciated PBLs such as the "Hack-the-teacher" and "Hack Box" projects and how impactful they are for building their interest in the field.
Founding Senior Partner Graeme Payne supports cybersecurity education in K-12. He recently provided workshops at Fulton County Schools' Innovation Academy in Alpharetta, Georgia. In TBDCyber sessions, students learned about their digital footprint, how to protect an influencer, identified potential phishing attempts, explored career opportunities in cybersecurity, and hacked AI.
As one of the students commented, "Thank you TBDCyber for giving us a fun way to learn about cybersecurity in real life that wasn’t just a presentation or lecture".

TBDCyber has provided financial assistance to the Friends of Mueller State Park, a nonprofit public charity that raises funds for youth programs, park improvements, and interpretive exhibits to enhance the experience of every visitor to the park.
Senior Director Joe Mendygral has been a long-time member of the organization. Joe has donated his time and effort over the years to support the park system and TBDCyber is happy to support this initiative.
